Israel claims that Hamas spies have been working for years just to plan the deadly Oct. 7 attack, which led to the official war between the Israeli government and the Palestinian militant organization.

Smoke plumes billow during Israeli air strikes in Gaza City on October 12, 2023 as raging battles between Israel and the Hamas movement continue for the sixth consecutive day. Thousands of people, both Israeli and Palestinians have died since October 7, 2023.

This was revealed by the Israel Defense Forces after analyzing acquired notebooks, phones, and documents from Hamas gunmen who were killed in the Gaza Strip.

The latest findings that IDF acquired from examining these items owned by Hamas showed how Israel has little understanding of the capabilities of the terrorist group when it comes to deadly operations.

Israel Claims Hamas Spies Work for Years to Plan Oct. 7 Terrorist Attack

According to The Guardian's latest report, IDF's Amshat military intelligence unit, which was re-established after the Oct. 7 terrorist attack, revealed a cache of material on Monday, Dec. 4.

Included among it are guides to hostage-taking, as well as Arabic-to-Hebrew phrasebooks; one of these documents shows how to deal with hostages, such as ordering them to put their hands up and spread their legs.

Aside from this, a 40-page battle plan for the Oct. 7 Hamas attack was also acquired. Amshat also revealed a super-detailed map of an Israeli military base, which is more detailed compared to the maps that meet IDF's requirements.

An Israeli intelligence source said that this super-detailed map is a clear sign that Hamas has been using "inside knowledge," meaning they are relying on spies to gather information that will help them create their terrorist attack plans.

IDF Knew About 40-Page Battle Plan Before Attack

Palestinian militants move towards the border fence with Israel from Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023. Barrages of rockets were fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip at dawn as militants from the blockaded Palestinian enclave infiltrated Israel, with at least one person killed, the army and medics said.

Some reports stated that Israel already knew about the 40-page battle plan of Hamas. However, officials dismissed it since they thought the plan was too hard for the militant group to carry out.

Meanwhile, some IDF spotters-mostly women-claimed information from the Israel Defense Forces about Hamas terrorists openly exercising an attack.

These details led to critics questioning why Israel wasn't prepared when Hamas attacked on Oct. 7 despite having information about their inhumane operation.

Other Signs of Hamas Oct. 7 Attack

Yahoo News reported that there's another sign of the Hamas Oct. 7 attack that Israel overlooked. This is the anomalous trading activity that happened before the deadly terrorist operation.

A newly published study claimed that the MSCI Israel Exchange Traded Fund experienced a significant increase in short selling. Meanwhile, hundreds of Tel Aviv Stock Exchange securities saw dramatically increasing short interest.

"Our findings suggest that traders informed about the coming attacks profited from these tragic events," said involved researchers Joshua Mitts and Robert J. Jackson Jr.

As of writing, Israel is still investigating the unusual trading changes that happened before Hamas conducted its terrorist attack.
