Volodymyr Zelenskyy Denies Russia-Ukraine War Stalemate Rumors

According to NBC News' latest report, Zelenskyy rejected what Zalunzhny recently said about Russia and Ukraine being in a stalemate position.

"They thought they would checkmate us, but this didn't happen," said the Ukrainian leader.

"Today time has passed and people are tired. But this is not a stalemate," he added.

He even said that Ukraine is considering military strategy shifts as the war against Russia goes on. The Ukrainian president claimed that their forces are coming up with different plans.

Aside from this, he confidently shared that they are adjusting their military operations in order to strike the Russian Federation faster, more effectively, and unexpectedly.

However, he admitted that Ukraine has been slow in the ongoing war. Zelenskyy added that as the battle stretches in Ukrainian territories, his forces are experiencing fatigue.

Although this is the case, Volodymyr Zelenskyy insisted that his Ukrainian troops are more motivated than any Russian soldier who is invading their beloved country.

A Belarusian volunteer soldier from the Kastus Kalinouski regiment, a regiment made up of Belarusian opposition volunteers formed to defend Ukraine, fires a 120mm mortar round at a front line position near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, on April 9, 2023, amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Despite showing confidence in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, Volodymyr Zelenskyy admitted that Vladimir Putin and his invading Russian troops dominate the skies.

"Russia controls the skies. We care about our military," said the Ukrainian leader via Reuters

Because of this, he renewed his calls for more military support from Ukraine's Western allies. Zelenskyy said that they need further assistance to strengthen their air defenses.

However, numerous military experts said that the U.S. will have a hard time giving what Ukraine is asking for since there's rising opposition in Congress.

Aside from this, the worsening war between the Hamas terrorists and Israel is also creating a diversion.

But, the U.S. needs to decide quickly since Russian troops are pushing forward as they attack near Lyman, Avdiivka, and Mariinka in the Eastern Donetsk region.
