According to prosecutors, it has been revealed that James, following the shooting incident, acquired a burner phone. This device was allegedly utilized by James to clandestinely monitor the media coverage surrounding his attack, all while evading law enforcement.

Per Ny Post, James reportedly viewed a total of 31 news report videos regarding the subway shooting incident. In a post-hearing news conference, Peace emphasized the crucial role of the New York City transportation system, referring to it as the "daily life blood" that residents of the city rely on for safe transportation.

According to Peace, Frank James allegedly aimed to undermine the feeling of security and sow fear and disorder within the city. In a tale of temporary triumph followed by ultimate defeat, the individual in question managed to achieve a fleeting sense of accomplishment with their plot.

However, the indomitable spirit of the people of New York City, coupled with their unwavering commitment to upholding justice, proved insurmountable for the individual, leading to their ultimate failure.

Kessane also emphasized that this punishment should serve as a strong deterrent for anyone contemplating the idea of traveling to terrorize the city.
