The giant EV maker is allegedly planning the new Tesla Giga Water Loop. Sources familiar with the carmaker's works said this new infrastructure could be built outside Gigafactory Texas.

The question is, what is this so-called Tesla Giga Water Loop? Here is everything we know about it so far.

Tesla Giga Water Loop's Building Permit Spotted

For the past few years, Tesla's Gigafactory in Texas has been the most ambitious manufacturing project of the EV maker. Elon Musk has been doing numerous manufacturing projects in this gigantic factory.

As of writing, the Gigafactory Texas is already housing the popular Model Y. Soon, it will start manufacturing the most-awaited Tesla Cybertruck.

Another ambitious project at the Tesla Giga Texas is the production of battery cells and cathode material. Aside from this, Elon Musk also announced that he would make the giant campus outside of Giga, Texas, into an ecological paradise.

A new building permit revealed another ambitious project the automaker plans to make a reality. This is called the "Giga Water Loop."

"There is an Austin Energy electric pole with a guy wire going into the ground very close to our proposed pipe on the North Side of the River," said the automaker via its official building permit acquired by Electrek.

"We request Austin Energy's assistance on either holding the electric pole during construction or temporarily relocating the guy wire during construction," added the company.

Sources speculated that the new Tesla Giga Water Loop could be the automaker's new water recycling system. Rumors claim this new technology would focus on hydrogen, carbon capture, charcoal, and water purification outputs.

If Tesla constructs the new Giga Water Loop and completes it, the new water recycling system is expected to eliminate CO2 emissions. Some analysts even believe it could provide the most needed fuels moving forward. Since the Giga Water Loop could be a water system, it could be linked to the ecological paradise outside Giga Texas.

Clean Technica reported that Elon Musk plans to put electric Tesla boats in the area. Aside from this, the Tesla ecological paradise is also expected to have hiking, biking trails, boardwalking, and other fun activities.

The billionaire promised it would be open to the public once the artificial paradise is done. However, it is unclear if they are already constructing it and the estimated completion date.
