According to Business Insider's latest report, tech companies, especially Amazon, Netflix, and Meta, are increasing their AI job postings.

Most of these job offers have six-figure salaries, which can really attract candidates who have the qualifications.

"This is pure market economics," said Paul J. Groce, a partner at executive recruitment firm Leathwaite. "We do not magically have thousands of additional AI developers, product managers, and everything else," he added.

Recently, Netflix made huge headlines after offering $900,000 for an AI-focused product manager position. This role was offered as actors and writers protested.

Meanwhile, Amazon offered a senior manager position in applied science and generative AI; with a yearly salary of $340,000.

Aside from the tech giant companies mentioned above, the Dating app Hinge also joined the AI talent race.

Previously, Hinge offered a VP of artificial intelligence. The individual qualified for the position can have an annual salary of $398,000.

Here are other companies that offer AI jobs with six-digit salaries:

  • Walmart: Conversational AI platform senior manager ($168,000 to $252,000 yearly)
  • Capital One: Generative AI engineer ($325,700 yearly)

The United States is slightly above average since it has nine times as many employees reporting AI skills this 2023.
