According to News.Com.Au's latest report, Ukrainian soldiers used five U.S. HIMARS missiles to kill around 200 Russian soldiers.

Russia's troops reportedly occupied the Dzharylhach Island when Ukraine's attack occurred.

Yahoo News reported National Resistence Center, which is handled by the Ukrainian military, shared drone footage to show the HIMARS missile attack's efficiency.

NRC said that the attack was effective because local sources provided the needed information about these Russian soldiers.

This just shows that pro-Kyiv informers are drastically impacting Russia's defense strategies in Ukraine.

"Thanks to the information provided by the underground in the temporarily occupied territory, dozens of invaders and enemy equipment were destroyed," said the National Resistance Center.

Although Russia didn't confirm that Putin's soldiers were wiped out, the country also didn't deny the reports.

Russia Now Finding Recruits in Kazakhstan

Russian forces have been attacking Ukrainian troops as part of an offensive to encircle Bakhmut in Ukraine's eastern Donbas region.

The Russian army is reportedly finding recruits in Kazakhstan. Based on the identified military advertisements distributed in the Central Asian country, Russia is willing to provide immediate payment of $5,000 to those willing to join its troops.

Residents who are qualified to become Russian soldiers are offered a $2,000 monthly salary as well.

This is quite reasonable since Kazakhstan is a former Soviet republic bordering Russia. The Asian country is also home to more than 3 million ethnic Russians.

Aside from this, Kazakhstan has been a long-time ally of Russia; one of its closest. However, there's just one problem.

The Kazakhstan government doesn't support Russia in its war against Ukraine. Instead, Astana officials are calling for peace.

This is not actually a big deal for Russia since it doesn't solely rely on recruits. The Russian government is also enhancing its defenses.

One of its newest strategies is using fake trenches with landmines to lure Ukrainians. The Russian military is also adapting Ukraine's weapons. If you want to learn more about Russia's improved defense tactics, you can click this link.
