A Twitter video went viral over the weekend after it featured people chanting, "We're coming for your children," sparking outrage on social media.

Hundreds of drag performers marched through New York City Friday (June 23) for its annual Drag March ahead of the city's Sunday event to culminate Pride Month. They marched through Manhattan's East Village on their way to Stonewall Inn, considered as a shrine for the LGBT+ community.

The Twitter video shared by Timcast News recorded some of the participants chanting, "We're here, we're queer, we're coming for your children," and "We're here, we're queer, we're not going shopping."

A topless woman was also featured in the clip, which went viral after being viewed more than 3 million times in less than a day. Timcast News was launched by conservative podcaster Tim Pool.

Viral Video Receives Conservative Ire

Reactions to the video say it was mocking conservatives, condemning the marchers as the video spread on social media.

Among the many who criticized the chant in the video was Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who called out the drag movement for "[grooming] minors" to "have mastectomies and castration," as well as for fueling "a multi-billion dollar medical child abuse industry.

"Pass the Protect Children's Innocence Act. Let kids be kids," she added.

Another tweet criticizing the slogan was that of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. "When they tell you who they are, believe them," he said.

Meanwhile, British de-transitioner Oli London observed that drag queens have been making their intentions known to the world through the chant. "They are not even hiding their intentions anymore," he said. "[T]hey are saying it out loud."
