The US claims that China has the intent to provide arms to Russia in its war with Ukraine, which the Chinese FM spokesman denies.

China calls the US claims that it will give arms to Russia unfounded and provocative. What Beijing wants is to end the conflict in Ukraine and not cause more escalation as opposed to the allies.

China Decries US Claims of Arms Supply to Russia

The statement from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken last Sunday saying that Moscow will be equipped with weapon systems, ammunition reports Anews.

Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin stated that instead of limiting arms to Kyiv, which has resulted in a prolonged conflict. He added the US claims to divert from its part is regrettable in a message to the US to blame others for their actions instead of decreasing escalation. Less blame and fake news should be geared toward an environment conducive to a peace deal, which was communicated in a briefing, noted Al Jazeera.

The mainland government, from the start, has told Putin must seek peace and won't support the war. Wang explains that global calls for peace do not extend the conflict further than they should. He stressed that Beijing calls for an immediate ceasefire.

Last Saturday, the Chinese official mentioned a solution allowing both parties to withdraw from fighting. He stressed that this meeting is a diplomatic solution to reach the goal, citing News24.

Wang, during the Munich Security Conference, drew the line on targeting nuclear facilities and using bioweapons to mediate a resolution. The EU foreign policy head, Josef Borrel, warned Beijing not to help Moscow in Ukraine. He warned that Beijing should heed that Brussels will be watching.

US Striking Chinese Balloon Escalates Tension

An incident about spy balloons was hyped by Washington that made Beijing tell the Biden administration to watch its claims. Entry of the alleged spy balloon that the F-22 shot was touted and blame the PRC for it. Increasing losses in Ukraine have prompted the US to warn the Chinese not to help Putin. They fear that as the 1st year of the conflict comes, it will come to a hammer blow to its proxy.

An ABC interview wherein Blinken said that US President Joe Biden told Xi Jinping not to arm the Russian forces. However, Beijing has long responded that the US needs to reflect on its redundant allegations.

The US administration allegedly took credit for Beijing's siding on non-escalation by not selling platforms to Moscow. But the Kremlin has proven to be self-sufficient in arming its forces.

Both Wang Yi and Blinken had a front row in arguing the rash actions of the US in the balloon incident. It could be seen as alleged grandstanding by Blinken to show it was not afraid of China by shooting down the balloon. The State Department spokesman Ned Price reinforced this in another media drive by the US.

The Chinese official commented the US had made the wrong decision to shoot down an off-course weather balloon and used it for opportunistic political mileage.

On Saturday, the Chinese diplomat spoke at the Munich Security Conference that the US has regressed to hysterics and theatrics that make resolution difficult. A response from China that the irresponsible US claims that it will give arms to Russia will sink its proxy further is very maligning. The actions of Washington block a peaceful initiative, not them.
