LeBron James missed the second half of the NBA All-Star Game due to a hand injury he suffered during the competition.

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers said he expects to recover shortly after missing the second half of the 2023 NBA All-Star Game due to a right-hand injury.

The Lakers superstar told press members that he would be" fine."

"I don't think it's too much to worry about," LeBron James said, according to Bleacher Report.

The superstar forward's hand got hurt as he went for a block and accidentally smacked the rim during the NBA All-Star Game in Utah. When attempting to block a shot from Pascal Siakam early in the second quarter, the Lakers forward hooked his fingers on the hoop, injuring his right pinky, per Clutch Points.

It's not unexpected that LeBron James decided to sit out the rest of the game after that, but the fact that he could stay on the court implies that his injury is not that severe.

During his 14 minutes of play, James scored 13 points. By the final buzzer, Team Giannis beat Team LeBron in the NBA All-Star game by 184-175.
