"Guardians of the Galaxy" has revealed three new movie stills in honor of the upcoming launch of the film's first trailer.

In an interview with USA Today, director James Gunn and "Guardians" star Chris Pratt talked about the upcoming Marvel flick.

"There's a whole lot to this movie - it's not a stage play," Pratt told USA Today. "You couldn't make Guardians of the Galaxy the play and put it on Broadway. It really wouldn't work."

"Guardians of the Galaxy" trailer will premiere on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Tuesday night at 11:35 ET/PT.

The film stars Pratt as Peter Quill (better known as Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel as Groot.
