Washington told Saudi Arabia sharply that Chinese influence is harmful to the Kingdom even if Beijing offers to start deals.

Washington last Wednesday spoke of Chinese influence as President Xi Jinping conducts a state visit to Saudi Arabia. The US claimed it wouldn't help its concern over international order or its concept of unipolarity.

Washington Is Alarmed Over Chinese Influence in KSA

According to White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby when asked about the positive reception of the Saudis of Xi. He said that the Kingdom is still an important ally, reported Al Arabiya.

He added that Beijing wields great influence that is increasing all over the globe. Cited the Middle East as one of these places, it can be serious. Expressing that Beijing is making inroads in ways that are more received, there is a positive response to China. Still, it is not part of the unipolar agenda, translated as international rules-based.

President Joe Biden has seen the rise of global competition and differentiates between democratic and fascist regimes.

Kirby claims that based on the international order propped up by the US, lesser nations have an actual choice between the US and China. Further alleged the US taking the lead on China, noted Barrons.

He added that the Kingdom is commercial, diplomatic, and military relations with KSA, an Islamic monarchy. When the OPEC+ led by MBS to lessen oil production, that is to raise oil prices, when Joe Biden asked to do it after the midterm was refused. It made him rail against the Saudis as an affront.

Saudi Arabia at Crossroads with the US

According to Kirby, the Kingdom has been an essential partner of the US for the last 80 years, but Biden has caused some repercussions on the stronger supposed relationship with Trump in power.

But, the OPEC+ move was something the White House saw as an impasse because it did not suit Washington. To date, it has spawned the current situation.

Chinese President Xi aims to bolster Saudi-Chinese diplomacy and trade, per Arab News.

Three summits are scheduled to take place during the duration; the Saudi-Chinese Summit, the Riyadh Gulf-China Summit for Cooperation and Development, and the Riyadh Arab-China Summit for Cooperation and Development.

All those attending them will include a group of 30 leaders and officials from the two countries and international bodies. The purpose is to place the import of the discussions and high profile of their meeting, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Xi's trip conveys the eagerness of the leaderships of Saudi Arabia and China to enhance the bilateral ties, augment their strategic alliance and acknowledge the political and economic potential it provides to start serving their mutual interests, the SPA added.

Upwards of 20 initial commitments between both the two countries, valued much as SR110 billion ($29.3 billion), would be agreed to sign during the presidential visit, including a strategic tie-up and just a plan to align the execution of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 advancement and diversifying project with China's Belt and Road Initiative.

KSA intends to establish a strong strategic relationship with Beijing to endorse trade and investment.

The Kingdom is the partner of Chinese investment in the Arab World from 2005 to 2020, making up 20.3 percent of the overall regional investment worth $196.9 billion. Washington says Saudi Arabia should avoid Chinese influence, which has more rewards than the US upending its unipolarity.
