As Florida Governor Ron DeSantis emerges as an opponent to Joe Biden and Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race, the last days of the 2022 congressional elections offer glimpses of an upcoming spectacle.

On Sunday, a political showdown in the Sunshine State may pave the way for a contentious 2024 presidential election. Just two days before election day, Donald Trump will hold his third rally of a four-state trip on Sunday evening in Miami, Florida.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, meanwhile, will avoid Trump in Miami-Dade while traveling to three different counties for his own speaking engagements. At 5 o'clock, the former president will speak after a slew of other Republicans address the audience.

Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott of Florida, as well as Representatives Matt Gaetz, Vern Buchanan, and Michael Waltz of the House, are among those scheduled to speak before Trump.

Ron DeSantis was noticeably absent from the event, which was not unexpected considering the deteriorating relationship between the rising star of the GOP and its de facto leader.

Trump blasted DeSantis as "Ron De-Sanctimonious" in Pennsylvania at the second of his four rallies on Saturday night, dismissing a list of possible Republican rivals in 2024, Daily Mail reported.

The well-liked Republican governor has refrained from publicly criticizing Trump, possibly mindful of how linked their supporter bases are, but has not ruled out running against him in 2024.

Moreover, at a fundraiser in Florida on Tuesday, Joe Biden referred to Governor Ron DeSantis as "Donald Trump incarnate," possibly revealing how Democrats want to portray the potential Republican presidential nominee in 2024.

The president stated that the current governor lacked the capacity to bring back civility to public life and bring the nation together while speaking at a rally in favor of Charlie Crist, who is challenging DeSantis for governor of Florida.

In addition, Biden criticized Republicans more broadly for their response to the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, and the ongoing contestation of the results of the 2020 election. He also criticized the Florida governor for his callous attitude, which has contributed to the toxic nature of modern US politics.

The attack last week on Paul Pelosi, the husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, in his San Francisco home, the president said, was caused by the more violent speech that has grown over the years.

At a rally later that evening in Miami, Biden urged Floridians to vote on Tuesday, saying "everything is at stake" in the next election, as per The Independent.

US Presidential Election 2024

Former President Donald Trump, possible Republican primary rivals Ron DeSantis and Mike Pence, as well as President Joe Biden, who is considering running for reelection in 2024, are all out campaigning.

In his final week of campaigning, Donald Trump visits Iowa, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, all of which play significant roles in the struggle for party control of the Senate and in his prospective 2024 presidential candidacy, which he has hinted at during the 2022 election cycle.

DeSantis will continue to campaign for reelection against Charlie Crist, a Democrat, during the closing days of the midterm elections in Florida. DeSantis has traveled to battleground states including Arizona, Ohio, and Wisconsin during the election season to support Republican candidates; this is typical of aspirant presidents.

Trump apparently disapproves of DeSantis' presidential campaign-style actions and has never officially backed the governor for reelection, despite DeSantis' apparent request. The former vice president and prominent former Trump adviser Mike Pence are both running for office in the last days of the midterm election.

Recently, Pence ran for office in Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia. On the Friday before election day, he is planned to be in Michigan, and like the other potential candidates for president, he may add campaign or media activities. If Biden decides to run for president again in 2024, Trump and other Republican contenders would undoubtedly criticize him, regardless of their disagreements.

On November 20, the president will turn 80 years old. Democrats have made suggestions that he forgo the 2024 election; these suggestions may become more frequent if the Democrats perform poorly in the midterm elections.

In particular, if Trump is his opponent, Biden claims he is willing to run again and is in good health. However, possible successors like Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Vice President Kamala Harris have also been involved in the midterm elections, as per USA Today.

Biden will be campaigning in Maryland, New Mexico, California, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. He will campaign in Pennsylvania alongside former President Barack Obama for Senate candidate John Fetterman, who is in a close battle with Oz that may determine who controls the majority in the Senate.
