Under Triple H's creative lead, the WWE aims to try new stuff, which involves changes in events and character development, next year.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Michael Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, plans to overhaul the pro wrestling company's pay-per-view events next year.

Wrestling News reported that a recent update from WrestleVotes stating that the Hell in a Cell event has been canceled. It pointed out that the show is probably "dead."

Triple H's Leadership Lauded By WWE Creatives, Staff

Though Triple H has a lot of sentimental value attached to that kind of match, due to the memorable matches he had inside the Cell, it has been six weeks since Roman Reigns and Jey began their feud but the calendar does not indicate that the event will happen.

Sports journalist Dave Meltzer recently shared upcoming alterations to WWE shows. The Hell in a Cell match will continue, but not as a stand-alone show.

Meltzer noted in his Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the cancellation of Hell in a Cell was not yet confirmed, "past that story could be accurate as Paul Levesque is trying to shape a new course and a new presentation and he wants to forge ahead not in copying Vince McMahon but in his own direction."

Since Triple H took over, there have been little tweaks practically every week, but this would be Hunter's largest alteration yet. There is currently no information on whether or not the event modifications will also apply to NXT TakeOver presentations.

Triple H, the man responsible for WWE's creative direction, discussed the company's creative process, as reported by TJR Wrestling. Paul "Triple H" Levesque, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, helped fill some of the holes left when Vince McMahon stepped down as Chairman and CEO of WWE on July 22, prompted by a controversy involving many bribe money transactions.

Triple H is prepared for this position thanks to his time spent managing the NXT brand and collaborating closely with Vince McMahon on creative matters. Multiple sources have seen a boost in backstage morale after Triple H assumed leadership in the creative direction.

WWE Presents PPV in Saudi Arabia

Triple H discussed the long-term vision he has while leading WWE's creative staff on the company's third-quarter financials call in 2022, and he mentioned a few huge names who he hopes would "move the needle" upon their return to television.

In terms of content production, he is looking "year-long cycle" and long-term goals compared to the previous approach of Mr. McMahon..Triple H reportedly began planning and working with the creative team for next year's WrestleMania presentation and the events in the summer and fall.

Triple H also spoke about the importance of character development. He aims to invest in the characters to make audiences care about them, which will add to the significance of the programming. Plus, the WWE would dare to try new things and learn from them in case they would not work.

When WWE presents Crown Jewel from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, November 5th, Triple H will be at the helm once again. Since Vince McMahon's retirement, this will be WWE's first major show in Saudi Arabia, according to CNET.

The main event is Crown Jewel's most exciting match. In a rematch of their Royal Rumble encounter, Brock Lesnar will take on Bobby Lashley in the semi-main event. The show also features a steel cage fight between Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross, and the Last Woman Standing challenge for the Raw Women's title by Bayley.
