Despite the abrupt end of what could have been one of the greatest Pro-Am game in history, NBA superstars still manage to show-off amazing plays for the hyped fans.

The CrawsOver Pro-Am Game scheduled for Saturday, which included NBA superstars like LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics, got canceled midgame due to condensation of the floor, according to Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic,

Observers noted that the humidity at the jampacked venue was to blame for the poor conditions, which led to at least one player slipping on the court, per Bleacher Report.

Basketball stars Dejounte Murray, Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, Tari Eason, and Isaiah Thomas were also present in the game.

It's a disappointing way for what was going to be a fantastic game in Seattle to conclude, considering Tatum and James, who were teammates, both participated.

It's unsure if either player plans to don the CrawsOver uniform again soon.

Though, the NBA superstars recorded some highlights that wowed fans before the game ended.

Tournament Aims To Inspire Kids

CrawsOver Pro-Am owner Jamal Crawford recently appeared on ESPN's NBA and stated that he tries to entice some of the finest players because kids in Seattle don't often get to see their favorite players.

Crawford noted: "A lot of kids in this area especially have only seen their favorite players whether it be on TV or video games. To see their favorite players right there in person, to reach out and touch them-and they might have an interaction with you-and if you're a kid working to get better and to dream about being on that level, that makes your dreams more realistic."

NBA players trying to keep in shape this summer have found Pro-Am leagues to be quite popular, according to reports.

Crawford also said he tries to get those celebrities to the event after asking the youngsters who they want to see.

This tournament, which is a rebranded version of the Seattle Pro-Am, gained greater attention last year after Isaiah Thomas scored 81 points in a single game. The largest season yet has been promised for this one, which began on July 9.

USA Today High School Sports reported Jamal Crawford discussed the incident on NBA TV. The sole opportunity for children living in Seattle to watch their favorite players compete makes The CrawsOver tournament unique.

The Pro-Am tournament is free admission to those who would like to watch it in person.

Other NBA players can be spotted among amateur athletes on the complete rosters, which can be viewed on the CrawsOver website.

LeBron James Supports Pro-Am Leagues

James participated in the renowned Drew League in July in Los Angeles. He played in that game for the first time since his NBA season in 2021-2022, which was cut short due to injury.

The superstar forward and the Lakers reached an agreement on a two-year, $97.1 million contract deal earlier this week, which will keep him with the team through the end of the 2024-25 season, per The Sporting News.

All of this leads back to one of the major issues that are frequently debated: Should Seattle have its own NBA team again? The passion is unquestionably present when the league and players are this excited.
