Stephen Curry hits another milestone with his shooting prowess during Western Conference Semi-Finals Game 4 between the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies

Stephen Curry hits another milestone with his shooting prowess during Western Conference Semi-Finals Game 4 between the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, as the superstar guard shoots his 500th postseason three-pointer, a record which he solely holds.

Curry, a two-time Kia MVP, made the record just before halftime. In December, he passed Ray Allen's all-time 3-point record and then hit his 3,000th career 3-pointer eight days later, as per NBA website news.

Also, this season, the 34-year-old sharpshooter has made remarkable achievements in his 13th NBA season. He nailed an All-Star Game record of 16 three-point shots made in the 2022 All-Star Game and reached 20,000 career points.

For the seventh time in his career, Curry led the league in 3-pointers made (285) and attempted (750). He shot 40.9 % from 25 to 29 feet away from the rim, the most in the NBA.

Another Achievement Unlocked

Unfortunately, head coach Steve Kerr was absent during the game as he was tested positive for COVID-19. But it was a double win for assistant coach Mike Brown, who not only filled in for Coach Kerr during his absence but was also named the Sacramento Kings' head coach. With the Game 4 win, Brown now has a 12-0 playoff record as the Warriors' head coach, despite the Dubs' poor shooting performance, probably one of their worst ever, according to Sports Rush.

Curry responds with a funny remark after knowing of Mike Brown's 12-0 playoff record as GSW's head coach. "You talk about historically bad shooting, he was named head coach twice 24-hours. I felt like we got traded to the Kings overnight," he said in a post-game interview.

"I don't know how to explain all this. We are obviously happy for him and his next gig," Curry added.

Poor Shooting From Both Teams

On Monday's playoff game, the Golden State Warriors' shooting was frigid for three quarters, and they were trailed by seven points entering the final quarter, but when it mattered most, they found a way to hit the shots and got the necessary stops beat the Memphis Grizzlies 101-98 and grab a commanding 3-1 series lead.

Stephen Curry scored a 32 points game-high for the Warriors, but it took him 25 shots to get there. He made only four of his 14 3-point attempts, but he finished with eight clutch free throws and 18 points in the fourth quarter.

Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole combined to go 0 for 10 from 3. Andrew Wiggins was 1 for 5 from deep, while the Warriors shot just 24 percent for the game.

Steven Adams returned, and the middle was loaded by the double-big lineup with Jaren Jackson Jr. In the paint, Memphis outscored the Warriors 56-42, while the Warriors only scored 38 points in the first half. The trouble was the Grizzlies only scored 41 points in the first half.

Memphis will host Game 5 on Wednesday. It is unclear whether Morant will return to action as of this writing. However, he got an MRI, the results of which the Grizzlies have yet to disclose, per CBS News.
