Justin Bieber has a new name. The 19-year-old pop star changed his Instagram name to "Bizzle" over the weekend. Why Bieber decided to change up his name remains a mystery but he confirmed the news on Twitter.

According to the Daily Mail, his new moniker came moments after he posted a photo of a recording session with rapper T.I. There are rumors that Bieber wants to leave the catchy pop songs behind and become a rapper.

He was also pictured in the studio with Diddy, Rick Ross, Stalley and Jermaine Dupri in a separate photo. Bieber teased fans on Twitter that he was recording new music with the rappers but didn't provide many details.

The "Boyfriend" singer has been making headlines recently for his "bad boy" behavior. He was arrested in Miami Beach, Fla. on Jan. 23 for driving under the influence, drag racing and resisting arrest. He was also accused of driving with an expired license and swearing at the arresting officer.

He also turned himself in to Toronto police on Jan. 29, for allegedly assaulting a limo driver. On top of that, Bieber is still dealing with the repercussions after his California neighbor accused him of egging his house.

According to a new report, Bieber could find himself in even more trouble, this time with a British rapper. According to MTV, U.K. rapper Lethal Bizzle is annoyed that the pop star is using Bizzle as his new moniker. The rapper took to his Facebook page to express his dislike over Bieber's new name. Check out his response below:

However, as the Huffington Post points out Bieber and rapper Lethal Bizzle are not the only ones fond of the name. A Christian rapper from Houston also uses the name and Bizzle was used by a Miami rapper before his death in October 2012.

It seems like Bieber isn't serious about using the name Bizzle, anyway. When asked about the new moniker on Twitter he responded that he was only using it "for now."
