Just minutes after hitting Rock, Smith won the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of 'King Richard,' prompting the audience to rise from their seats to applaud the actor.

Jaden Smith, a rapper, has previously turned to Twitter to support his father. Jaden's tweet has been shared over 42,000 times, and social media users expressed various reactions to it.

Some accused the 'Summertime in Paris' singer of being a hypocrite since he tweeted earlier this month, "Praying For Peace In The World," while others flatly attacked Jaden for her comments, Daily Mail reported.
