Kardashian Baby Gifts: Kim and Kanye Request Charity Donations After Fake Register Fiasco

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, 32, and boyfriend Kanye West, 35, are asking family and friends not to give them gifts for their baby, but instead to make donations to Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, a pediatric specialty hospital in West's home town.

"Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for their thoughtfulness and support of the hospital," the pediatric hospital said in a statement. "We wish them all the best in the upcoming arrival of their baby. Funds donated on behalf of Kardashian and West will be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit fund which will help care for critically-ill babies and their families."

According to TMZ, Kardashian and West told family and friends they do not have a baby registry. Numerous fake baby registries have appeared online, but the couple insists they didn't create them.

News of the couple's announcement not to receive gifts for the little one comes just one week after Kardashian was finally able to secure a divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries.

The divorce dragged on for six months before the two were able to come to an agreement. It was reported that Humphries wanted an annulment while Kardashian wanted a divorce.

"I'm just glad for Kris and I both that we can just move on," Kardashian told "Extra" special correspondent Angie Martinez. "I think we ultimately both wanted the same thing so I'm glad we were able to come up with an agreement and move on for both of us."

"The Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star was seen worried and stressed that her divorce would not be finalized before her due date late this summer. It's been said the couple are planning to give birth in Paris.
