Jon Gosselin wants to give his sextuplets a chance at a "normal" childhood, and will take Kate Gosselin to court to fight for custody.

According to In Touch Weekly, Jon is seeking primary custody for nine-year-old Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah because they are allegedly afraid of their mother.

"They live in fear of Kate," Jon told the gossip magazine. "Every time I see them, they tell me they want to live with me."

"First, I'm going to file for an emergency petition for contempt ... The next step is to fight for custody," he said, adding he hasn't filed the paperwork, but will once he has the money saved up. "It's the only way I can protect the younger six."

Jon claims his children are suffering because of Kate's "behavior." He also told In Touch Kate violated their custody agreement when he wasn't allowed to watch the children when she was out of town with 13-year-old twins Cara and Mady.

The father of eight claims the twins' behavior on the TODAY show sent red flags up and told the gossip magazine he will do anything to protect his children. Jon also explained to Hollywood Life why Cara and Mady didn't want say anything during their TODAY show interview.

"I think out of fear, they went silent," Jon told the gossip site. "They were never scripted before, it was a reality show - do what you want, say what you want. They were in a moral dilemma. All the stress got to them and they didn't say anything."

"I think it's f-ing horrible that she'd put them in a [position] like this," Jon said. "She put them on TV for herself. She's narcissistic."

Do you think Jon should get primary custody of the children or are they better off with Kate? Tells us in the comments section below.
