Soulja Boy was arrested after allegedly being caught with a loaded gun in his vehicle, TMZ reports.

The 23-year-old wrapper, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, was reportedly in the San Fernando Valley when he was pulled over for running a stop sign, according to the gossip site. Law enforcement officials arrested him Wednesday morning.

"During the stop, cops say they noticed that Soulja was in possession of a loaded gun -- and arrested him on the stop," TMZ reports. "Soulja was hauled to a nearby jail -- he's currently being booked. Soulja has a history of run-ins with the law -- he was busted for weed and weapons back in 2011."

According to a TMZ report, Soulja was arrested in Temple, GA. for possession weed and firearms after a traffic stop revealed more alleged illegal activities. A source told the gossip site the rapper had $70,000 in cash in his car.

"Soulja was riding in an Escalade with 4 other men, which was originally pulled over for a traffic violation," the gossip site reports. "We're told during the stop, cops found a 'substantial amount' of marijuana and cash inside the vehicle."

Four other men were arrested during the 2011 incident. The rapper made headlines again in 2013 after he was kicked off a domestic American Airlines flight for disruptive behavior.

The New York Daily News reported the rapper refused to put on his seat belt before take-off, which resulted in the airline staff removing him from the flight. He was reportedly given multiple warnings before being escorted off the plane by security.

"It was a bad night and me and the flight staff didn't see eye to eye," the rapper later said in a statement. "In hindsight, I'm extremely sorry for all inconvenience caused to the passengers and employees of the airline."
