iOS In The Car Coming Soon According to New Leaked Images of the System (IMAGE)

One of the most highly anticipated ventures by Apple is its promise to integrate its mobile operating system with motor vehicles with the much talked about "iOS in the Car" initiative that it unveiled at this year's World Wide Developer's Conference back in June. Now, new leaked images give a bit of life to this fabled bit of technology.

The new allegedly leaked screenshots of the system suggest that Apple's auto focus for its iOS 7 update is still very much being worked on. The images, posted to Twitter by a developer named Steve Troughton-Smith was picked up by MacRumors showing something that looks a lot like a GPS module compared to other incarnations of the system's prototypes. However, this new image still maintains that iOS 7 feel that is making many believe that it is in fact real. According to MacRumors, it is currently unclear exactly how Troughton-Smith was able to get his hands on these images, he declined to comment when asked about the images' origins.

iOS in the Car will be a feature that allows an iOS-based interface to take over your car's touch screen dash. The system will make it possible for users to make phone calls, access Maps, control music and much more with the use of simple voice commands or hand controls that are no more intrusive than simply pressing a button to change the radio station in your car's current makeup, theoretically of course.

The images of the system seem drastically different from images provided by Apple in marketing materials. However, that could be the result of an evolution in the software's development and isn't necessarily evidence that these pictures aren't legitimate.

So far, many reputable names in automotive manufacturing have expressed interest in integrating with Apple's iOS in the Car for their 2014 models including Audi, BMW, Acura, Chevrolet, Honda and many more.
