Justin Bieber's alleged egg throwing incident is definitely bringing the singer a lot of unwanted attention. The 19-year-old and his friends have been accused of egging his neighbor's house, something that resulted in damages totaling about $20,000.

Following the incident, Los Angeles police showed up at Bieber's house with a federal search warrant. According to reports, the police were not looking for eggs but wanted to search the Calabasas, Calif. home for anything that could connect Bieber to the egging.

According to TMZ, deputies took the singer's home security surveillance system with them during the raid.  So far, Bieber has not been arrested and is said to be cooperating with the investigation but could he face jail time and even deportation if found guilty?

Michael Wildes, an immigration attorney, told E! News that he thinks it's highly unlikely the pop star would get booted back to Canada. Bieber is currently in the United States on a temporary O-1 visa.

"But," Wildes said. "If an assault charge was leveled, that could be more serious. Visa fraud, a gun charge, burglary are usually things that [are] tantamount to that type of scrutiny."

"The truth is crimes are crimes and the government has a strong policy of pursuing individuals who are here on temporary visas if the case warrants it," he continued. "However, I do not believe that this case warrants it."

However, an L.A. based lawyer named Anahita Sedaghatfar told Fox411 that the "Boyfriend" singer could be in for some serious trouble if convicted.

"California does not take vandalism lightly. If the damage is $400 or more, the person can be charged with a felony and the person can face anywhere between one to three years in jail, in addition to having to pay fines and penalties," Sedaghatfar said.

Mitchell Ignatoff, a lawyer who specializes in the criminal defense of immigrants, told Fox411 that deportation is definitely possible for Biebs.

"If [Bieber is] actually convicted of a felony that involves a state of mind of intentional or knowing, there's a possibility that he could be deported," Ignatoff said.

While this news has some beliebers upset, others found the whole thing amusing.

"Justin Bieber might get deported! Yesss hahahaha," @Lihlad tweeted.

"One can only dream that Miss Justin Bieber will actually get deported... #CantStandHer," @DomingoDeaan posted.

"lol Justin Bieber might get deported back to Canada, so maybe my day isn't so bad," @edales_ wrote.

Do you think Justin Bieber would actually get deported for the egging incident?
