According to recent reports, the "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" villains Darth Vader and Orson Krennic recently revealed what makes their evil characters tick despite the test of time. According to them: it's their amazingly wicked sense of fashion.

The Significance of Costume design

It pays to know that costume design has always been a significant part in movies, most especially movies like Star Wars, which is set in high fantasy, fictional worlds. Costume design is a key component towards making the viewers believe the legitimacy of the characters and of the world, and Star Wars films have never failed to excel greatly in this particular field.

Princess Leia's iconic costumes throughout the entire saga have significantly drawn attention, as well as the Stormtroopers becoming a classic. But no costume has never been as iconic as Darth Vader's signature look.

But did you know that while the Darth Vader look has become one of the most recognizable getups in the entire Star Wars films, if you would look closely at each Darth Vader costume for each particular movie, you'll notice that they are quite different from each other? While it looks almost the same, there has never actually been a singular Darth Vader costume.

The New Darth Vader

Star Wars VFX legend John Knoll have revealed that bringing Darth Vader back to the screen after quite some time was a significant pressure for the "Rogue One" Story team. So if you look closely at the Darth Vader for the upcoming Star Wars movie, you'll notice that he is somewhat of a hybrid of the previous Darth Vaders.

The main Villain

But while Darth Vader will surely make his mark in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," the movie's primary villain is going to be Orson Krennic, which is played by actor Ben Mendelsohn). Krennic is a highly ranked official in the evil Empire, who is tasked to administer the development of the Death Star. Krennic will be partnering with Darth Vader in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has just recently premiered and was very well received by fans. Look out for Rogue One to hit international theaters starting December 14.
