Serena Williams plays Vesna Dolonc on Tuesday in the second round of the 2014 Australian Open. The match is slated for 9:00 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the live radio broadcast via the links provided below.
Williams, ranked No. 1 in the World, began the bid for her fifth Aussie Open title with win on Monday against Ashleigh Barty.
"She had absolutely nothing to lose. It would have been different playing her at like a French Open, Wimbledon, U.S. Open, but she's from here, so obviously it's a different atmosphere," Williams said of the Australian native, via the Associated Press. "In Australia, they're like crazy for anyone that is local."
Williams's dominant performance from last season, where she won two Grand Slams and nine other titles, carried through to the first round of the Australian Open. She looked as dominant as ever against the 155th-ranked Barty and won without dropping a set.
The American's next challenge is Dolonc. The 24-year-old Russian, ranked No. 104 in the World, has never advanced further than the third round of any Grand Slam and boasts a 264-178 record as a professional. Although she has no WTA titles, Dolonc does have two ITF titles.
Williams and Dolonc have never met in a WTA tournament.
Another challenge, for of the tournament participants, is the heat. Temperatures could soar into the triple-digits, according to the tournament's official website.
"I have to be ready for it," Williams told the website. "I'm happy to be in the second round, so I can't complain about the weather at this point. Hopefully I can continue on."
