Dallas Cowboys is the hottest team in the NFL right now. At 9-1, they have the best win-loss record in the league as they are the only team with just 1 loss after week 11. They just won nine consecutive games which is a franchise record for the Cowboys.

After failing to get a win on opening night against the New York Giants, the Cowboys never tasted defeat again this season. Their latest victim is the Baltimore Ravens as they won that game 27-17. That game was also the first game this season that Romo played with his new role as the back-up quarterback for rookie Dak Prescott.

Earlier last week, it was announced by Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones that Tony Romo is finally healthy to play this season. However, he will be the back-up quarterback for rookie sensation Dak Prescott. Romo stated that Prescott earned the starting quarterback spot.

There is a high possibility that Romo will play for a different team next season. The salary of Romo will be at around $24.7 million, per Spotrac. But since he will become a back-up quarterback if he still plays for the Cowboys, he will become an overpaid player. For a financial standpoint, keeping him next season is not a good deal.

Because of these, a lot of speculations have been circulating about the possible destinations for Romo next season. And according to NFL.com, Romo might play for the Denver Broncos next season. That's if Broncos' general manager John Elway figures out that Trevor Siemian is not the guy and if they decide that Paxton Lynch need another year.

It is also said that Romo could be the next Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos. Manning spends 14 years as the quarterback for the Indiana Colts. But he finished his last 4 NFL seasons with Broncos where he won the Super Bowl 50 before retiring for good.

Romo is now on his 13th season for the Cowboys, Romo could finish his career in Denver Broncos just like Peyton Manning did. He might have a fresh start in Denver Broncos.

Is the Denver Broncos be the next destination for Tony Romo?
