X-Rated Pictures Uploaded To Woman's Dropbox Account Through Stolen Phone

When Victoria Brodsky lost her cellphone in the summer 2013, she did not expect to later find naked pictures of a man and woman show up on her Dropbox account. Now, the woman told the New York Daily News on Wednesday that she wants the promiscuous theives punished.

Brodsky, a mother of two who lives in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, found over two dozen pornographic images and one video of a mysterious man and woman. The couple took the pictures and uploaded them to the Internet - days after they stole Brodsky's cell phone in August 2013.

"It seemed like they were getting off after taking the phone," Brodsky, 39, told the Daily News. "I would love it if they were caught."

Brodsky told the Daily News that she had her Samsing Galaxy S3 for a month when it was stolen along with her wallet in August. The phone was taken from her purse when she attended a Brighton street fair with her children.

The alleged thieves took pornographic selfies with the phone. Since Brodky's phone is linked to her Dropbox account, the 26 pictures and video were automatically uploaded to the online account. Brodsky said she was willing to forget about the stolen phone, but now wants the couple held responsible.

"It's one thing to steal, but they're celebrating," Brodsky told the Daily News.

Brodsky previously went the police when she first realized her phone was missing. Police told the Daily News that Brodsky said she lost the phone and that it was not stolen. However, according to Brodsky, the police told her the phone had to be labeled as lost because she did not actually witness it being stolen.

Brodsky noticed the strange pictures a week later on Dropbox, a site used to store data, the Daily News reported. The first images of the man and woman were harmless, but progressively turned inappropriate. In one picture the couple is naked, lying down on a mattress. In others the couple pose their faces and pretend to kiss, the Daily News reported.

Brodsky told the Daily News that although she was shocked by the images, she noticed the couple did not seem all that interested in one another.

"Sex looks very boring in their house," Brodsky said.
