Newly engaged couple Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are expecting a baby together!
Since almost every aspect of their whirlwind relationship has been documented on social media, the former reality TV star and his model fiancée took to Instagram earlier today to make the happy announcement.
Both parents-to-be shared the exciting news with a picture of a custom Chyna emoji in which she’s cradling a baby bump. Kardashian’s post included an emoji of a baby and one of a bride in his caption. Meanwhile, Chyna’s caption featured the same baby emoji along with the party popper one.
In case anyone is doubting the news, Chyna’s rep said: “I can confirm she’s pregnant and, of course, she’s happy.”
Kardashian and Chyna (whose real name is Angela Renée White) have been dating since January. In early April, the virtually inseparable couple got engaged. He proposed with a 7-carat diamond ring designed by jeweler Ben Baller, who has been a long-time friend.
“I have never seen you this happy before and I’ve known you since you were a teenager,” Baller said about his sparkly creation. “I’m glad you came to your day 1 homie to get this massive [ring] for your lady. You know I don’t play when it comes to diamonds.”
Twenty-nine-year old Kardashian was reclusive and said to be depressed following an alarming weight gain in the years before he met Chyna. She is credited with helping him shed some pounds and eat healthier. He previously dated “The Real” co-host Adrienne Bailon and actress/singer Rita Ora. This will be his first child.
Chyna, 27, was once engaged to rapper Tyga, and the two share 3-year-old son King Cairo Stevenson. Tyga is currently in a relationship with Kardashian’s half-sister Kylie Jenner.
No word yet on when Kardashian and Chyna’s baby is due or when the couple will tie the knot.
