Christian Elementary School Teacher Victim of 'Revenge Porn,' Suspended For Nude Photo Surfacing Online (VIDEO)

An Ohio woman who teaches fifth grade at a Christian prep school in Cincinnati was suspended this week after a nude photo of her surfaced online, WCPO reports, even though the photos were stolen from her and put on a "revenge porn" site, making her a victim of the malicious Internet fad.

"We can confirm we have an employee who appears in some photos that have been compromised and made digitally available," Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's North Campus spokeswoman, Jennifer Murphy, confirmed. "By compromised, I do mean were made available without her knowledge or consent."

An anonymous parent told WCPO that she and several others parents are upset after learning of the nude photo incident.

"The woman is already a victim," the parent said. "But this being a Christian school, parents are upset that a teacher is even taking naked pictures and sending them to people - and...her students are old enough to get online and Google their teacher's name and the photos come up."

Revenge porn sites allow hackers, ex-boyfriends and scorned lovers to submit private and often compromising photos of women for public scrutiny along with the victim's personal information. The photo of the Ohio teacher was posted on Nov. 23, and the day afterwards, she filed a claim that her iPhone 4S had been stolen.

"The school is currently addressing the situation with faculty, staff, students and parents," Murphy said. The school has declined to provide further information about the case out of respect for the woman and her family's privacy and due to the "sensitive nature of the circumstances."
