Keri Russell’s Home Burglarized: Two Men Steal Personal Belongings in Early Morning Robbery

Actress Keri Russell's home was burglarized in the early hours of Wednesday (Nov. 3) morning. According to Extra, Russell was sleeping on the basement level of her Brooklyn Heights brownstone when two men entered through a first-floor window.

She reportedly awoke to footsteps and talking on the floor above her. When Russell went to investigate she noticed her front door and window was open and called 911. She also told police her Macbook Air, Filson bag, a necklace and earrings were missing.

The two men, identified as 50-year-old Ronald Swindell and 19-year-old Stephan Swindell, got away but were caught a couple hours later after breaking into a home a few doors down from Russell's. Police said no one was injured during the burglaries.

According to Page Six, Ronald has been arrested for burglary in the past and was released from prison just a few months ago. TMZ is reporting that the pair is father and son. There's no word if the actress' husband Shane Deary or children, Willa Lou and River, were home at the time but her rep said everyone was doing fine.

"Everyone is fine," her rep said. "Keri send her thanks to the police."

According to reports the two men have been charged with burglary and possession of stolen property. Russell, 37, currently stars in the FX drama "The Americans." She plays Elizabeth, a Russian spy who, along with her husband, poses as an American married couple living in the suburbs of Washington D.C.

Elizabeth, whose real name is Nadezhda, is a KGB agent. Her goal is to infiltrate the United States Government along with her husband. They have both took on jobs as "travel agents" but during the normal hours they work on things for the Soviet Union.

"The Americans" returns in early 2014.
