Ben Affleck is using social media to promote his upcoming film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." The actor, who plays Batman in the highly anticipated movie, treated fans to some never-before-seen photos from the film's set on social media weeks before the release of the superhero flick.
"Behind-the-scenes with our all-star crew," Affleck captioned one of the behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, along with the hashtag #WhoWillWin.
The image shows Affleck in all of his Dark Knight glory staring intensely into the camera in what appears to be the filming of one of the scenes that was featured in the film's final trailer, in which Batman takes out a group of bad guys in a warehouse.
The film's director, Zack Snyder, can be seen standing right next to the cinematographer, making sure that the scene is shot to perfection as the crew looks on.
Affleck shared another picture on the photo-sharing platform that shows Snyder giving Affleck directions for his next scene, as the actor can be seen dressed in a navy blue suit for his character as Batman's alter-ego, Bruce Wayne.
"On set with our #BatmanVSuperman director Zack Snyder," he captioned the picture, which also shows the pair standing in front of a mangled city bus.
The set appears to be created for a scene in the film in which Wayne dashes through the streets of Metropolis as Superman (Henry Cavill) takes on Krypton's military commander, General Zod - a scene from the ending of 2013's Superman flick "Man of Steel."
Affleck has been actively involved with the film's promotions and also shared a video of himself taking one lucky fan for a ride in the new Batmobile.
The actor surprised fans who were taking a tour of the Warner Bros. lot as he popped out of the vehicle and invited them for a spin in the fancy car.
The promotion is part of an online competition for Omaze that also awards the winner with a chance to spend time with the cast of "Batman v Superman," including Jesse Eisenberg, on the red carpet of the film's premiere and fly with Cavill in a helicopter.
"Batman v Superman" is slated to hits theaters on March 25.
