The Cincinnati Bengals are dealing with a bevy of impending free agents and teams like the Detroit Lions are hoping to exploit that as soon as the new league year kicks off. While the Bengals are said to be prioritizing players like wide receiver Marvin Jones and cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, a talented safety like George Iloka is suddenly drawing loads of interest from a number of parties outside the Bengals facility. The secondary-needy Lions are, unsurprisingly, among the teams said to be showing early interest in the big safety, according to the Detroit Free Press.

A 6-foot-4, 225-pound terror, Iloka has turned himself into a versatile back-end player with the ability to lay a big hit or three. He's young (25), and could be a great fit for the Lions after taking his game to a more complete level in 2015. He finished this past season with 47 tackles and just one interception, but his impact on a strong Bengals defense went well beyond his stats.

With the surprisingly capable Isa Abdul-Quddus headed to free agency from Detroit - along with James Ihedigbo, a guy Ian Rapoport of NFL Network suggested unequivocally won't be back with the Lions in 2016 - that leaves little in the way of safety talent on the Detroit roster beyond the soon-to-be long in the tooth Glover Quin.
