'Call of Duty: Ghosts' Multiplayer DLC Titles Leaked Accidentally By Activision

It appears Activision has accidentally leaked the names of the forthcoming "Call of Duty: Ghosts" DLC packs in an e-mail to users. Typically, with any launch of a new "Call of Duty" title, there are planned expansions to the multiplayer and other game modes that come out as downloadable content packs after the disc's initial launch.

The e-mail, sent out to fans of the franchise, came with the graphic pictured above that reveals the names of the four DLC packs that will be released over the course of the next 12 months.

Onslaught, Devastation, Invasion and Nemesis will be the titles of each new content pack. The keen observer will note that the initials of these DLC packs spell out "ODIN." Many know this name as Thor's father in the newest Marvel cinematic film "Thor: The Dark World." However, in this context, it's likely a reference to the name of Ghosts' orbital strike platform, according to Eurogamer. The image was sent out in an e-mail to many fans but was later removed by Activision. This act has fueled rumors that the reveal of the names was an accident not meant for people to know just yet.

Typically with "Call of Duty" franchise DLC packs users pay an upfront fee for all four packs as part of the "season pass" deal. It appears Ghosts will be no exception with the "Ghosts Season Pass." It will offer users a small savings on money and unlocks things like Team Leader DLC; an exclusive pack of cosmetic items meant to make your online squad characters look even more dangerous and cool.

"Get 4 epic DLC Map Packs*, each delivering a collection of fresh Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer content and more. Plus, you'll receive the Team Leader digital content pack, a Season Pass-bonus that includes a MP character head, weapon camo, reticle, player patch, player card and player background," the image reads.
