Almost 20 years later, Kate Winslet has finally admitted that her character in the "Titanic," Rose, let Leonardo DiCaprio's character Jack die in the 1997 disaster movie. The actress dropped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Monday to talk about the iconic film and her reuniting with DiCaprio during this year's award season.

"People are always so excited to see Leo and myself in the same space, which at the end of the day, that's so lovely," Winslet told Kimmel. "It's been 20 years and people still get such a kick out of it. It's really quite endearing."

"And we do laugh about it," the actress continued. "We were giggling about it last night. I was like, my god, can you actually believe that people just get so overwhelmed by the Jack and Rose thing."

Kimmel pointed out that Winslet's character Rose let DiCaprio's character Jack "freeze to death in the water."

"I agree," Winslet admitted. "I think he could have actually fit on that bit of door."

Winslet's performance in "Titanic" earned the British actress her second Academy Award nomination after 1995's "Sense and Sensibility," according to Entertainment Tonight.

Later in the show Winslet played a game called "Name That You" where Kimmel had the actress name the characters from her films.
