The Cleveland Browns have hired Hue Jackson as their next head coach, and after the Browns finished the 2015 regular season tied for the worst record in the NFL at 3-13, changes were surely coming. The Browns have the second pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, and Jackson has stated that the team wouldn't hesitate to use the pick on a quarterback if it's the best fit, according to Bleacher Report's XM Radio.

Reports already surfaced after the hiring of Jackson that quarterback Johnny Manziel was likely already on his way out the door, and the newly appointed Cleveland head clearly doesn't believe that Manziel is the future of the franchise. "It's my opinion we need a quarterback," said Jackson, via Bleacher Report's XM Radio.

Manziel has shown improvement on the field in his second season in the NFL, finishing with a 2-4 record with seven touchdowns to five interceptions. While Manziel improved on the field this year, the concern with the former Heisman Trophy winner remains off the field, as the young man has consistently let down the Browns organization with poor off field decisions.

Veteran quarterback Josh McCown is excited to play under Jackson and could serve as a possible mentor to the Browns future franchise quarterback. McCown was placed on injured reserve this season with a broken collarbone, but he proved he can still start in the league, throwing over 2,100 yards with 12 touchdowns to four interceptions. McCown turns 37 years old this offseason and could serve as a strong mentor if the Browns decide to draft California quarterback Jared Goff with the second pick in the draft, which many expect to happen.

Goff has proven himself the top quarterback in 2016 NFL Draft and has proven himself as a team leader on the collegiate level, which is likely appealing to the Browns organization. Goff has the NFL arm that head coaches are looking for at the next level, and he could be a strong fit as Cleveland's future franchise quarterback.
