I’ve never seen so many doppelgangers. Now that Elena, Katherine, and Amara are all in the mix, things are going to get real interesting. Here are the questions I have after Thursday’s episode:

No. 1—How is the Dr. Maxfield/Katherine arrangement going to play out?

My first guess after Katherine woke up was that Nadia had given her vampire blood. Therefore, when Katherine woke up she was a vampire. However, something totally different is happening to her. Her hair is turning gray and her body is falling apart. So what’s wrong with her? She has blackmailed Dr. Maxfield into helping her but will either of them betray each other in this arrangement? (By the way, my theory is someone put a spell on her that makes her slowly catch up to her actual age—meaning she’ll soon look like a person who’s a few centuries old. Which probably means she’ll be dead.)

No. 2—Is Bonnie going to get another chance?

Damon’s plan to bring Bonnie back to life has failed miserably. Also, things have gotten much more complicated now that it’s been revealed the anchor to the other side is an actual person. If Bonnie’s friends want to bring her back, what’s their next move?

No. 3—Is Matt any better?

We really didn’t see Matt last episode. When we last saw him he had a traveler in is head who threatened to do him harm. Has he gotten any closer to solving his situation? Has the traveler taken over his body and caused more trouble?

No. 4— Where’s Silas?

Hopefully Silas isn’t just dead. It was very poetic to have the woman he was trying to be with for all this time kill him. However, it was sort of anticlimactic. When will we see him again?

“The Vampire Diaries” airs Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW.
