On tonight's episode of "Born This Way," A&E's hit docuseries featuring adults living with Down syndrome, big changes are in store for three cast members. Cristina's boyfriend Angel proposes and the couple celebrates their engagement, John performs his music onstage and Megan faces the possibility of leaving her dreams behind in Los Angeles to go back home to Colorado.
Cristina
After spending five years with her boyfriend Angel, Cristina feels that she is ready to take their relationship to the next level. At her parents' approval, Angel finally pops the question during a romantic dinner. In a scene from tonight's episode, Angel gets down on one knee while holding out a diamond engagement ring. Megan accepts and shows off her new ring to the cameras. "We are engaged," Cristina announces. "It's a really big step to get married. Whew."
John
The aspiring hip-hop artist performs onstage in a scene from tonight's episode, and his mother Joyce gets emotional when talking about her son's performance. "I had a dream that people would stare at him with pride," Joyce says, "and he's accomplished that."
Megan
Megan took a leap when she moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue her dream of becoming a film producer. Her mother Kris made the move with her but it was only on a trial basis during the summer. In a clip from tonight's episode, Kris tells her daughter it's time to pack up and move back home to Colorado. "I wanted to stay here," Megan tells her mother. "I don't want to talk about this right now."
