Just as she did for the album cover for her fourth studio album, "DEMI," Demi Lovato has stripped down and gone topless for the official cover of her new single, "Neon Lights."
Featuring the star submerged in water, her eyes closed and arms wrapped around her bare chest, the new single cover is perhaps Lovato's sexiest yet, and if that weren't enough, the star also just released a lyric video of up-tempo dance-pop track, full of neon-colored text that has gotten her devoted "Lovatics" hyped for the upcoming music video.
"Neon Lights" is planned to hit the radio on Nov. 18, the official video having already been filmed. In celebration of the new single and her upcoming "Neon Lights" tour, Lovato recently dyed her hair a bright blue, though she has said it was "for fun" and to make the live show panels on "The X-Factor" a little more fun.
On last year's season, the 21-year-old singer rocked everything from blue tips and pink tips with blonde, and even went back to her classic brown bangs from her "Camp Rock" Disney days for the live shows.
In addition to her role as a judge and mentor on season 3 of "The X-Factor," in which her top three girl contestants will compete this week, Lovato has been spicing up FOX's hit show "Glee" playing the role of Dani, a struggling artist and love interest of Santana (Naya Rivera).
"Yes, we kissed in the first episode, but I want people to pay less attention to the fact that I'm kissing a girl," the star told Latina magazine for her new December/January cover issue. "Focus on the fact that having a young, multicultural lesbian couple on prime time is a huge step in our generation. It's showing people that it's okay to be who you are. Don't be ashamed of it."
And while Lovato and Rivera have so far shared a quick smooch on-screen, fans are left wondering what the future has in store for the fictional couple and if they'll take their flirty relationship to the next level.
