Things have been quite stressful for the underground Tomorrow People. They’ve been captured by Ultra, had horrible reunions with crazy old friends and near death experiences.

They could definitely use a distraction.

According to a preview for an upcoming episode, Cara realizes this.

“A night out could do us a lot of good,” she tells John.

In the video she challenges John to a sparring match and tells him that if she wins, the underground group get’s to go out. Apparently, she wins because they head out for good night. However, her comment about doing “a lot of good” looks to be pretty false.

While Cara and the Tomorrow People attend a party in the city, it soon becomes clear they’ve been lured into a trap by Ultra. Will it be up to Stephen to get save them this time?

Last week’s episode provided some answers into the relationship between Jedekiah and John. We know now that Jedekiah is like a father to his former Ultra agent and that Ultra gave John the ability to kill (although none of his friends know it).

According to Executive Producer Greg Berlanti, fans should get ready for more answers.

"It's a central part of John's story and in a lot of ways of John and Jedikiah's story; it broadens out as more and more people possibly discover it," Berlanti said in the recent interview with EOnline of the fact John’s able to kill. "He has other secrets as well, in terms of other burdens John carries that we'll expose."

According to EOnline, Berlanti also said fans will be able to see the first time John killed. However, they will see it from Jedikiah’s point of view.

“The Tomorrow People” airs Wednesday at 9/8c on The CW. You can watch the preview for Wednesday's episode here
