Ryan Reynolds finally revealed the birth date of his daughter James Reynolds on Wednesday, exactly a year after the "Deadpool" actor and Blake Lively welcomed the little one - Dec. 16, according to Entertainment Tonight.

"Happy birthday to my baby girl!" Reynolds tweeted. "Sad I lost my virginity. But thankful I have a daughter."

 

Reynolds and Lively, who married in September 2012, have been rather quiet about their baby girl and did not even reveal the name of their little bundle of joy until March this year. The couple have also not yet shared a picture of baby's face on social media, giving us nothing more than a sneak peak at the child's tiny feet and hands.

"Thumb wrestling isn't always fair. Curiously, my hand is the small one," Reynolds captioned his first Instagram photo of James, which he shared earlier this year, showing her holding onto daddy's thumb, according to US Weekly.

Even though the couple have kept their baby's life private, Reynolds expressed what it's like to be a father in a recent interview with GQ magazine.

"I have no problem waking up five times in the middle of the night and changing diapers, and as exhausted as you get, I have this stupid grin on my face all the time," Reynolds said, according to GQ.
