Even though Chris Hemsworth plays a superhero in Marvel's "Thor" film series, the actor can still be intimidated by other people. Hemsworth revealed on "The Graham Norton Show" that he visited a prison to research his role in the film "Blackhat" and was heckled by some of the prisoners at the jail.

The Australian told Norton that he did not think any of the men would recognize him, but when he was forced to remove his hat that hid his long blond "Thor" ponytail, they knew who he was right away.

"I was researching a film, and we had to basically go in and research what the inside of a prison looked like and speak with prisoners who wanted to talk with us," Hemsworth said. "The moment I started walking through the cells, I just started getting heckled. 'Yo, Thor's here man, Yo Thor, yo Thor! Where's your hammer, man?'"

This is not the first time the actor has dived deep for a role. The actor consumed as few as 500 calories a day for the upcoming adventure epic "In the Heart of the Sea," as HNGN previously reported. Hemsworth posted a picture of the dramatic results on his Instagram account with the caption "Just tried a new diet/training program called 'Lost At Sea.' Wouldn't recommend it."
