Police are looking for the missing brother-in-law of Chicago Bear's quarterback Jay Cutler, Michael Cavallari, after his car was found abandoned on a highway in Utah, according to People. Michael is the brother of Cutler's wife, reality television star Kristin Cavallari.

On Nov. 27, Michael Cavallari's 2014 Honda Civic was discovered five miles south of exit 175 on I-70, the Grand County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.

"We're combing the area for anything we can find," Grand County Sheriff Steven White said, according to The Deseret News. "We're deeming it suspicious, but there's nothing to indicate anything one way or another. The vehicle was just abandoned."

Michael Cavallari's laptop computer and cellphone were recovered from the vehicle, which was found with its engine running and a deployed airbag, possibly from a collision with a large rock on the side of the road.

The vehicle was registered in the name of Michael Cavallari from San Clemente, Calif., and authorities traced his last known location to a convenience store in Monticello, Utah, with the help of credit card transaction receipts and CCTV camera footage.

The Grand County Sheriff's Office is treating this as an active missing person case and has urged anyone with any information on Michael Cavallari's whereabouts to come forward.

On Nov. 24, "Laguna Beach" star Kristin Cavallari and her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, welcomed their third child, daughter Saylor James, as HNGN previously reported.
