Last week, the plot and characters for J.K. Rowling's "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" were finally released. Even though most of the main characters were revealed, there was nothing about "Sons of Anarchy" star Ron Perlman's character, who plays a goblin, as HNGN previously reported. Now, the specifics of his character are finally out in the open.

Perlman was a guest at a recent ComicCon in Providence, R.I., where he dropped some bits about his character. He also revealed that he had just finished shooting his part in the film the week prior.

"Newt Scamander, who's this magician who comes to New York to buy the girl he's trying to win over a little exotic gift, and he gets caught up with this thing and he comes to my nightclub," Perlman said, according to The Telegram.  "I'm a gangster who owns a speakeasy. He comes to my nightclub to get information and so I have this one scene in the movie with Newt and his friends. Newt is played by Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne, who was in 'The Theory of Everything' ... And I steal the movie."

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is the highly anticipated spin-off of Rowling's "Harry Potter" series and takes place in New York City in 1926. The film stars Redmayne as Newt Scamander, an "eccentric magizoologist."

The film also stars Katherine Waterson, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller and Samantha Morton.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Nov. 18, 2016.
