Watch out, Hollywood! Ricky Gervais is back to roast host the 2016 Golden Globes Awards, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced on Monday.

Gervais hosted the ceremony from 2010 to 2012 before handing it off to Amy Poehler and Tina Fey for the next three years. The British comedian never held back from needling Hollywood's elite and trashing NBC, the network that carries the Golden Globes.

"Ricky Gervais left us with a lasting impression and we are thrilled to have him back in our show as we honor the best in film and television," said Lorenzo Soria, President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. "His off-the-cuff wit and quirky charm will surely have the room and audiences around the world at the edge of their seats."

The 73rd Golden Globes Award will air on Sunday, Jan. 10 at 8 p.m. on NBC. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association will announce the nominations on Dec. 10.
