The flight staff aboard an American Airlines flight was booed by several passengers after they reportedly bullied a sobbing woman and then kicked her off the plane.

A video, which surfaced Sunday, taken by a passenger seated behind the crying woman, shows the moment passengers aboard the flight from Phoenix to Portland jeered at the crew for booting the woman off the plane after she claimed to not hear an attendant's request to move out of the aisle, according to the New York Daily News.

"Shame on American!" one passenger can be heard saying.

"Screw this airline!" another shouted.

The woman had been captured pleading with a female flight attendant who asked her to exit the aircraft, and threatened to call authorities if she didn't, according to the New York Post.

"Are you serious?" the weeping woman asked. "This can't be legal, I didn't do anything."

The woman's pleas were ignored however, and she was forced to get out of her seat into the isle.

As the woman apologized to the flight attendants, her fellow passengers voice their displeasure with the way they treated the woman, with many claiming this will be the last time they fly with American Airlines, reported the Syracuse Post-Standard

"Never again," one man said.

"This is horrible," another passenger chimed in.

"You just lost a lot of customers," another can be heard saying.

Some of the passengers filed complaints with the airline following the incident, and the company responded upon inquiry: "We are looking into the incident to get a better understanding of what occurred. The passenger was re-booked on the next flight to Portland."
