Chloe Bennet is ready to transform into her superhuman form when "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns later this month. Her character Daisy Johnson, a.k.a. Quake (formerly Skye), dons a new tactical suit in the third season complete with S.H.I.E.L.D.-made Quake gloves, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"It was really, really fun to put it on," Bennet told the L.A. Times. "With the inner geek in me - and growing up with six brothers - I was never really interested in being the princess. I was more into being someone who kicked... and was a superhero. So that was a dream come true."

Bennet had the opportunity to work with costume designer Ann Foley to design the outfit. Foley also designed the suits for Deathlock (J. August Richards) and Mockingbird (Adrianne Palicki) as well as the glittering dress that Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) wore during her memorable fight scene last season.

"It's about strength. She feels very empowered in it... That's what was important to me, that she felt empowered to me," Foley said about the Quake suit. "I wanted to stay true to some of the designs I saw in the comics. In the style lines, I wanted to pay a little bit of a tribute to her tactical ability from last season, but we also incorporated the Quake symbol into her gauntlets and on the back of her suit."

The gauntlets will help Daisy harness her Quake powers, which include the ability to move objects and generate massive amounts of force, as she leads the search for other powered people. When "S.H.I.E.L.D." returns, Daisy will be the only Inhuman officially on Coulson's (Clark Gregg) team, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"While there is a desire to put a team together like [Secret Warriors], there are so many complications and so many aspects to it that make it difficult that it will not be up and running right away," executive producer Jed Whedon told EW. "It's something that's a long-term goal of Coulson's, but right now they're in such emergency mode and there are so many things standing in their way. They need a solution to this problem that they don't have yet."

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will return on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
