Jill Dillard (neé Duggar) and her husband Derick are under fire for taking two vacations during their mission trip to El Salvador, Entertainment Tonight reported. Fans who donated to their mission work cause have been asking the Dillards how their donations are being used to serve the community in El Salvador by leaving comments to the couple's joint Facebook page.

"Why haven't you posted detailed accounting notes or charts/graphs to inform donators as to how your TAX FREE donations will be spent?" one fan wrote on their Facebook wall. "Where are pictures of you doing MEANINGFUL work like feeding the impoverished or homeless? Where are pictures of you helping to build houses, orphanages, or schools to provide shelter and education to families and needy children?"

The backlash comes after the Dillards posted photos while attending two stateside weddings, their cousin Amy Duggar's nuptials with Dillon King last weekend and the Aug. 15 wedding of "Bringing Up Bates" stars Michaela Bates and Brandon Keilen, according to ET.

Jill defended herself and her husband by posting a Throwback Thursday photo of women and children she's ministered during her time in El Salvador on Instagram.

"#tbt To our month on the mission field in Central America. My heart aches for the hardships these people are facing daily due to pressure and violence from the gangs," she wrote in the caption. "Please pray for their safety! We look forward to returning there to continue ministering after language school!"

Her hubby Derick posted an update of the couple's progress in the country on his family's blog.

"Upon returning to the United States, we have hit the ground running," Derick wrote. "Just this past weekend, we were commissioned to the mission field by our home church."
