Taraji P. Henson will reach the stage at least once on Emmy night this year. She and her "Empire" co-star Terrence Howard are set to present at the 67th Emmy Awards on Sept. 20.

The Television Academy announced its first group of presenters on Tuesday (via Deadline). Jimmy Kimmel, Amy Poehler, Maggie Gyllenhaal and LL Cool J will join Henson and Howard to honor the best in television at the ceremony hosted by Andy Samberg.

Henson, Poehler, Gyllenhaal and Kimmel will compete for their own Emmy glory. The "Empire" star received her first nomination for Best Actress in a Drama while Poehler hopes her sixth and final nomination for "Parks and Recreation" is the lucky one.

Gyllenhall already won a Golden Globe for her role in the mini-series "The Honourable Woman." Kimmel and his late-night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is in a crowded fielded with his 11:35 p.m. cohorts Jimmy Fallon ("The Tonight Show") and the recently-departed David Letterman ("The Late Show") as well as cable competitors "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," "The Colbert Report" and "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver."

The Emmy Awards will broadcast from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
