A California man was killed Saturday after falling off a WWII-era tank and getting run over, according to NBC News.

The accident occurred on private property near Fairfield, Calif., a city southwest of Sacramento, at around 2:25 p.m. local time Saturday afternoon.

Two men were riding the vintage 1944 M5 tank as they began descending a hill. One of the men lost his balance and fell over the front of the tank as it continued to roll down the hill, according to CBS News. He was subsequently run over by the rapidly moving vehicle. The man was 55 years old and was pronounced dead when emergency crews arrived on the scene.

The man who was run over has yet to be identified, but the driver has been identified as Dwayne Brasher, 62, according to CBS News.

It is not believed that alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident, KCRA reported.

The private property where the accident took place is owned by the Rowland family. They also own and operate Jelly Belly Candy Co.

CHP is still investigating the accident.
