Square Enix and Disney announced at the D3 Expo that "Big Hero 6" will be coming to "Kingdom Hearts III." The San Fransokyo world along with Baymax and other characters from Disney's hugely successful animated film will continue their story in Tetsuya Nomura's upcoming role-playing game.

"Big Hero 6 is such a special film for me," said film producer Ray Conli, "and we always made sure that each action sequence had a very special meaning. The themes in 'Kingdom Hearts' and 'Big Hero 6' match very well. For instance there's friendship, really important to both stories, and then of course light over darkness," according to IGN.

The third installment of the "Kingdom Hearts" franchise will follow the events of "Big Hero 6" with Baymax joining Sora on her adventure, Forbes reported.

"The antagonist in Kingdom Hearts III uses the powers of darkness to manipulate the Baymax body that was left behind in the portal. As such, the old Baymax body left behind becomes a dark, heartless Baymax," according to Gamespot.

"Kingdom Hearts III" was first announced at the E3 2013 and is currently in development for next-generation consoles.
