Tom Cruise is looking for wife number four and has enlisted the help of a Scientology dating service. According to the Daily Mail, the "Mission Impossible" actor is using a dating service provided by the Church of Scientology to help him rekindle his love life following his split from actress Katie Holmes.
There were rumors that Cruise was dating model Jessica White after she joined the Church in June but his rep says the rumors are not true, the Daily Mail reports. He was also linked to "Orange is the New Black" star Laura Prepon after the two met at the Scientology Celebrity Centre International in Los Angeles.
According to the website the two hit it off and Cruise was "impressed" but he still wants to keep his options open.
"Tom seemed impressed, but he's keen to see who else might be out there," the source said.
According to the source, the actor has strict criteria for the next Mrs. Cruise. She has to be involved in the entertainment industry, "brainy," in her mid-to-late 30s and a member of the Church of Scientology for at least five years.
"Tom needs to be strict about his criteria because he wants to avoid a disastrous match and he needs them to understand his hectic lifestyle and all the comes with it," a source said.
Rumors have swirled that Cruise was "auditioning" women to be his next wife. Former Scientologist Anette Iren Johansen recently came forward with claims that she had "auditioned" to be Cruise's wife in 2005 before he married Holmes.
She told Australian magazine Woman's Day that she had no idea she was auditioning to be Cruise's wife until a US magazine wrote a story describing the audition process.
"They asked me so many questions about my life, my family background, everything I'd ever done in Scientology," Johansen said. "Days later, the man who had the audition phoned from Los Angeles and told me he needed to as some 'very private' questions."
Johansen said they asked about her sexual past and if she had ever had "gay sex." After the follow up phone call she never heard from them again.
A rep for the Church denies that there was ever an "audition" - secret or otherwise - that took place for any of their members.
